Transforming Kulsum's Life.
When life took a difficult turn with her husband falling ill and struggling to support the family, Kulsum faced challenges that seemed insurmountable. Despite seeking help from her family, the situation remained incredibly tough. However, the introduction to Sreepur Village and the assistance provided by the organisation marked a turning point in Kulsum's life.

It's Charity Tuesday and as part of Trustees Week we are delighted to share with you today's trustee, Ruby Porter, MBE.
We asked Ruby if she could describe The Sreepur Village in three words what would she say: Ruby said, " Place of Safety".
Rubi's Story
This is the story of Rubi.
Rubi Begum, hails from Narsingdi district located in central Bangladesh. She lost her husband after 12 years of marriage together. Rubi's husband committed suicide in February 2020, he was suffering from family conflict, extra marital affair, financial problems and drug addiction, all of which led to his fatal suicide.
Small Charity Week
Ripa Begum hails from the northern part of Bangladesh. A mother of three, Ripa seeked shelter from The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh, in May, 2018 when river erosion completely washed away her house and all her belongings. Unfortunately, every year hundreds of families will lose their homes due to river erosion, especially in Northern Bangladesh where many of our mothers live.
International Women's Day 2021 - #ChooseToChallenge
Today, March 8, is also #IWD2021 and the opportunity for us to share with you the story of Forida, a 14-year old girl living in The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh along with three of her siblings and her mother.
