“I am Salma Akhter and since 2011 I have been working as a teacher in The Sreepur Village school. I started my teaching career as a community teacher and after that I joined The Sreepur Village. My dream has always been to work with underprivileged people and that’s why I am here..."
Primary Education Completion (PEC) tests have begun in Bangladesh and fourteen fifth grade students from the Sreepur Village will be taking these exams this year. Prior to this, fifth grade students would take the Primary Education Certificate examination.
For the last few days our children, their mothers and the teachers have been heavily engaged in preparations for their forthcoming exams. In the morning, before they left the village for the exam centre, we took a photo of them. They were a little nervous, however, at the assembly hall all the children, teachers and staff wished them good luck and GOOD LUCK from all of us too.
