This Christmas Day, we wished all of our children at The Sreepur Village, a very Happy Birthday. Every year we choose this day to celebrate the birthdays of all our beneficiaries as the majority have come to us abandoned and will never know their real date of birth.
In the morning, all the children and their mothers gathered together and a big birthday cake was cut. Then birthday gifts were handed out to everyone which was followed by a cultural programme.
Mina, who is six years old, said that this was one of her biggest experiences and that the birthday celebrations made her feel really special.
Christmas Day was a big day for all our mothers and their children, and it is because of all our supporters that The Sreepur Village was able to make this Christmas a birthday celebration that all our children and mothers will remember forever in their life.
