International Mother's Day Celebrations
International Mother's Day was celebrated in The Sreepur Village through various programmes. Our mothers expressed their love for Pat, the founder of the charity, by reciting poetry and dedicating it to her. For the last 29 years, The Sreepur Village has been helping mothers in their development and rehabilitation and to give them the bright futures that they all deserve.
Yesterday afternoon the mothers arranged a discussion and cultural programme where they discussed their future plans. Then during the cultural programme our mothers and children performed dances, songs and poetry.
Yesterday, we celebrated International Mother's Day but it is every day that we celebrate the determination of all our mothers and their children.
