Francois recently had the privilege to visit the Sreepur village and meet its founder, Pat. The work she does with her team to support mothers and their children is amazing and deserves our support!
This was my first marathon in Nantes and I am thrilled with the support I have received and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who kindly donated.
The Sreepur Village works with destitute mothers and their children to give them the health, knowledge and skills they need to function independently in society. At the moment over 150 mothers and 540 children are supported by The Sreepur Village. As a grass roots organisation they respond to local need and run other related programmes such as fostering and supporting vulnerable children. They provide these children and their mother with a loving environment, food, clothing, education, vocational training and safety.
