Paul's Cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats

April 26, 2019

#FridayFeeling and we would like to say a very big thank you to Paul and his cousin who cycled more than 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats, raising an amazing £651 for #TheSreepurVillage #Charity #Bangladesh

You can still sponsor Paul here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/paul-brodrick3

With 150 miles to go, Paul and his friends have cycled the steepest hills and climbs, and can now look forward to the last stretch of stunning scenery in Scotland.

We’re three days in now and have ridden about 160 miles, just breaking into Somerset. I can confirm there are a lot of steep hills in Cornwall and Devon! The weather has been pretty awful too, starting with Storm Hannah, hail showers and constant drizzle yesterday and this morning, but at least we got some sunshine this afternoon and hoping for more (and smaller hills) from now on. Thank you for your continued support.

Having completed several one-day charity bike rides together my cousin Danny and I promised each other that we would cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats before we're 60 - he is 60 in June, so it had to be this year or bust.

We will start this epic challenge on 27th April, aiming to average 50 miles per day and travelling about 1000 miles in total. We will be joined by Danny's younger brother Lawrie as well. I have chosen to support The Sreepur Village in Bangladesh because of all the amazing work they do supporting women and children, who would otherwise have no-one else to turn to.

Please will you support this incredibly worthwhile cause?
